Newspapers of Helena

From the publication of Helena's first newspaper, Montana Radiator, in 1866 until the present, over 90 newspapers were published in Helena.  All of these newspapers are available on microfilm at the Montana Historical Society Research Center.  This wide array of newspapers represents all facets of the community:  Republicans, Democrats, Progressives, Socialists, Labor, German-Americans, Stockgrowers, Afro-Americans, and the mining industry.
